Great product for training dogs! I use them all the time for training (walking on a lead, sitting, fetching). They are high in flavor so even with our 7 month Golden Retriever, treats cut in half work well for a reward. Unlike dog kibble or other treats, these are quickly digested so that your dog will not be gagging on them as he/she works on the next behavior. To keep fresh, keep bag tightly closed and put a portion of the cut treats in a resealable sandwich bag. If they do get exposed to air and dry out, a small portion of a moistened paper towel in the bag will restore them to original texture.

My two ECS eat salmon dog food and it’s hard to find a salmon treat and one that is affordable when you do find them. These are PERFECT for agility, obedience, conformation– you name it. They do smell strong of Salmon (which, my boys love) and like the other reviewer, they will dry out pretty quickly if not kept sealed. That being said, my boys will not hesitate to eat them if they do get dried out from leaving them in the bait bag. At the 4-for-3 promotion price, you can’t go wrong!

I bought the football last Christmas for my then 2 year old golden retriever. Very few toys survive her chewing but the football is still completely intact. She loves the bounce it has when we throw it across the room for her. When she’s done chasing it she will usually settle down with it and chew away but she is unable to put even the smallest hole in it. I would have to say this is the best money I have ever spent on a dog toy and I am planning on getting her a couple more Orbee-Tuff toys for Christmas this year. I never thought I would find a dog toy that would still be in the same shape a year later. Very impressed.

I don’t know what this stuff is made from, but it is AWESOME!! And completely INDESTRUCTIBLE! When I opened the box and saw how soft and flexible it was I thought for sure my chessie’s would have it gone in one chomp…almost a week later and its still in one piece!! Not a single solitary knick, crack, or nibble has been removed from this ball. Orbee-Tuff balls are THEE balls to get for overly agressive chewers or just plain old destructo mutts (like mine!). I also love that these balls are made from non-toxic ingredients, so I feel a lot safer giving them to my two dogs. All I know is, I will be making many recurring purchases for Orbee toys, forget Kong and Nylabone…THANK YOU Orbee for giving me hours of piece and quiet!!! Along with hours of fun for my dogs!!!

Freeze dried liver has a hypnotic effect on dogs. They LOVE it and will do just about anything for it, so it is a great treat to use for training. (Powdered freeze dried liver is even added to many dog medicines nowadays– heartworm and arthritis tablets, etc.– because it causes the dog to scarf the medicine down like a treat.)

Freeze dried liver has a dry, hard, yet powdery/easy to chew consistency. It comes chopped/cubed. It is extremely lightweight due to the fact there is so little moisture in the product (thus the low weights on product labels).

Even though your dog will love liver treats, you shouldn’t overfeed it. The manufacturer recommends 1-2 cubes daily for small dogs, 2-3 cubes for medium dogs, and 3-4 cubes for large dogs.

The largest package sizes of liver treats tend to be far more economical. I recommend buying the larger tubs, as you will save lots of money, you’ll have a handy treat supply around for a longer time, and your dog will never tire of this product.

There is really zero waste with this product. When you near the end of the tub you’ll find some powdery bits of dried liver at the bottom. Your dogs will go CRAZY if you sprinkle this dust over their dog food– it’s a wonderful reward that is easy to use.

This is the ONLY toy my rottweiler has ever had that has survived his wrath! If you spend loads of money on the so called “durable” dog toys meant for “aggressive chewers” and the toy lasts 10 minutes, then THIS is the toy for your dog!! Dogs can chew forever on it without destroying a thing….highly recommended for “destructive dogs…!”

Here’s the deal – I have 2 mutts, they are both happy chewers; one however is a destructive chewer. My challenge is to find toys that they both can enjoy, yet will last, so as to protect my pocketbook. My power chewer chews right through Kong toys.

I’ve had this toy for over a month and they still enjoy it and it shows no signs of damage! The cool thing is you can put a large food items in the pocket and if they’re big enough, it won’t fall out till the pups have licked it to a nub. I like to use Pedigree Jumbones cut into thirds.

I highly reccomend all West Paw toys as their construction is soft enough to be fun for the dog yet strong enough to take abuse.

I have a 65 pound American Bulldog & Lab mix who can tear apart the black Kong toys in under 15 minutes. I tried many other toys that were labeled “indestructible, super tough, or for aggressive chewers” with the same result – little piles of rubber shreds on either side of my dog as he sinks his teeth in and pulls the toys apart. Ordered one of these Zogoflex Tux toys after reading the reviews hoping to finally find something that would stand up to his choppers. Received an orange one a few days later and showed it to my dog. He was on it immediately. It quickly became his favorite toy. So how did it stand up to his chewing?

Well, he’s been chewing on it for over a week now and the thing still looks brand new. I’ve even tucked treats in the underside which really makes him go at the thing and he still hasn’t gotten any pieces off of it! He also likes to play fetch with the Tux. In fact, it is the only toy we have that he will bring to me and drop in my lap, asking me to toss it.

It’s a chew toy, a treat holder, and a fetch toy and it has stood up to the hardest chewing dog I’ve ever known. Well worth the money, in my opinion!

If you have a “gulper” please be VERY careful with this product!!! Please supervise your pets with this treat, as the pieces are VERY small and I can see may present a choking hazard or cause internal blockage for some dogs. I have a 14lb pooch who is a self regulator (ie. wont wolf down her food all at once, but graze here and there.) and have no issues with food or toys; meaning even if she has a nice juicy steak in her mouth, I can easily get it right out of her mouth with not even much of a protest. She also knows the leave it command, and will drop stuff for me to get away from her.

Despite those facts, I am still pretty leery of given her these…”just in case.” But my dog is my baby… so she only gets it when I am right there with her and can supervise, and I make sure she is actually chewing them.

The variety is nice, and the smell isnt as bad as some bull’s stick, or hooves or whatever on the market. Also, the ingredients are all natural, which is important to me.

However, I worry too much about the pieces being so small….so despite the fact that she likes ‘em (she is a very picky eater.) This will probably be the one and only time I will purchase this product.
