Funky Patchwork Furniture from Recycled Fabric by Lisa Whatmough

Patchwork is usually used for quilting and bedcovering. But Lisa Whatmough, a British designer, has used patchwork technique in different way for her Squint Limited company. She adopted it for covering her funky furnitures become unique and fun product. That’s an extraordinary technique I ever see.

She combined various old textille collection and period furniture with traditional way by using tied springs and hand stitched seams. Her designs look colorful and cheerful. She made the chaise longues, cabinet, recycled chair, and many other furniture types. Perhaps her design can be an inspiration for you to recycle some old fabric and furniture instead of putting them to the storage. Go green!
