Green life concept brings the technology experts expands more works in order to make easy our life activities. Orange, an English mobile operator, revealed their vision in eco-energy technology to the Solar Concept Tent that is very usefull for camping equipment. Great!
So what features does this tent have?
- The tent shell uses Photovoltaic Fabric to maximise the sun’s energy storage
- Provides Glo-cation technology. With this feature, you can identify your tent by using only an SMS in order to avoid losing your tent or getting accidently exchanged with other campers. Wow!
- Wireless control hub for charging your mobile phones or other portable devices
- This tent also will be shine in the dark because of its soft yellow light.

This tent is a pretty advanced concept. It seems pretty neat, but it doesn’t seem like a viable solution to camping. All the campers I know (including myself) either don’t bring our phones on trips, or just keep them off all the time and use them only for emergencies. The reason I bring this up is because the audience for this tent will most likely be campers, and I just feel like they wouldn’t want to purchase one (especially because it would come with a steep prics, and it looks heavy). Other than that, I feel like it’s kind of hard to lose your tent. But nevertheless, it’s a pretty creative idea!
